The life of a Parish is far more than just Sunday worship and our Parish Life committee works tirelessly to enhance the community that is St. John's.
Along with weekly Coffee Hours, Parish LIfe plans a number of activities that are both celebratory and fund-raising culminating each year in our Harvest Dinner.
Examples include a Shrove Tuesday pancake supper, Simnel cakes on Rose Sunday, receptions in celebration of baptisms, confirmations, first communions, Rally Sunday, garage sales, craft and bake sales, just to name a few. Members also coordinate funeral receptions when requested.
