ACT Children's Theater at St. John's

Greetings from ACT Children's Theater at St. Johns!

We are so pleased to announce our 2020-2021 season! Our first production of this season is a virtual show called "Modern Classics: A Broadway Showcase." Our talented troupe of students from across the North Country prepared an entire showcase of songs from the last 20 years of Broadway. The shows featured include "Hamilton," "Dear Evan Hansen," "Beetlejuice," "Wicked," and more! Click here to see the video production now available on our You Tube channel.

As it was necessary to provide the showcase virtually instead of as a live theater experience, please consider making a donation in support of the theater.  Our PayPal account can be accessed here.

Following our Broadway Showcase, we will be doing our traditional Christmas Caroling around Ogdensburg during the week of December 20th. When 2021 arrives, we are still hoping to put on a full production of "The Music Man." If we are allowed to gather by that point, we will hold auditions in April, rehearse in May, and put on the production in June. Fingers are crossed and prayers are being said!

We are so excited to be back working with the youth of the North Country and it is our hope to continue to offer rewarding theater experiences to children for many years to come!

A.C.T. Children’s Theater at St. John’s was founded to encourage area youth to dream, explore, think, and connect through imaginative storytelling on stage. Our mission is to provide quality theatrical experiences to local school-age youth in the North Country, be educated by local professionals in all aspects of theater, and engage and inspire students to develop a creative mindset. We strive to create a safe and productive working environment that encourages collaboration and creativity, enabling young artists to fully self-express. We embrace and promote diversity among our students and celebrate the differences among us.
