ACT Children's Theater at St. John's

A.C.T. Children’s Theater at St. John’s was founded to encourage area youth to dream, explore, think, and connect through imaginative storytelling on stage. Our mission is to provide quality theatrical experiences to local school-age youth in the North Country, be educated by local professionals in all aspects of theater, and engage and inspire students to develop a creative mindset. We strive to create a safe and productive working environment that encourages collaboration and creativity, enabling young artists to fully self-express. We embrace and promote diversity among our students and celebrate the differences among us.

ACT is made up of the creative team of Steven Chambers, Angela Conzone Dwyer, Christopher Dwyer, and Tonya Ott. They were founded to offer theater opportunities to local area youth and to embrace all forms of creativity and diversity. Their other events this year will include Christmas caroling, talent shows, acting classes, and a full-length Broadway musical in June.
