ACT Children's Theater at St. John's

Greetings from ACT Children's Theater at St. Johns!

We are back to work at ACT Children’s Theater at St. John’s! On February 25th, we held auditions for our new play, “Arthur Redux”. We were able to assemble a cast of 22 kids, plus a student Stage Manager.  We began rehearsals on March 5th and things are going very well! We are wearing masks and taking temperatures, but we are able to give our students a sense of normalcy that they are all craving. It feels great to be back to work and every student involved seems to be having fun.  Our play will be another virtual production, uploading to our YouTube Channel on Friday, April 30th.

We are so excited to be working again with the youth of the North Country and it is our hope to continue to offer rewarding theater experiences to children for many years to come!

A.C.T. Children’s Theater at St. John’s was founded to encourage area youth to dream, explore, think, and connect through imaginative storytelling on stage. Our mission is to provide quality theatrical experiences to local school-age youth in the North Country, be educated by local professionals in all aspects of theater, and engage and inspire students to develop a creative mindset. We strive to create a safe and productive working environment that encourages collaboration and creativity, enabling young artists to fully self-express. We embrace and promote diversity among our students and celebrate the differences among us.
